Nice end of the week.

Long time since I cleaned dentures, am I right? As you probably realized, something went on in our family last week, hence the lack of posts during that time. So, today, we made up for that by volunteering at the nursing home this week instead of the prior one. Today actually went well, with lots of people needing denture cleaning. I guess the long wait allowed for more people to give us their dentures to clean. It's always like that. If we do a follow-up visit soon after an initial cleaning session, only a little people want their dentures cleaned. But if we come back three, four weeks later, we usually clean a lot more. It was really hot in the building, but I still had a good time cleaning the dentures and seeing the patients' smiles once I returned their dentures to them.
Now I normally wouldn't talk about my internship in a Community Oral Care post, but today marks the end of the second draft of the paper. After receiving edits from a friend of ours, I feel that our paper is really elevated and closer to actual publication-level work. There's still room to improve, but I'm quite proud of the work so far. Hopefully, we can submit our paper for publication before the end of July. Also, I've been working on our denture-scanning app, and it doesn't look good. Chat-GPT doesn't seem to understand what I want, and it's getting really frustrating. Oh well, God can deal with all my struggles.
