Community Oral Care Stories: Part 7

We were back at denture cleaning today, but it wasn't the busiest. We came right after lunch time, so some of the people were still finishing their lunches. Also, a lot of people were sleeping as well, probably because the rainy weather prevented them from enjoying the outside. Whatever the reason, we only cleaned a few people's dentures today, even though we haven't cleaned their dentures in around a month. One lady was super hesitant about us cleaning her dentures, and she got rather cranky. But when I returned the cleaned dentures, she was in a good mood and was super thankful. I guess that's what the whole point of denture cleaning is about: putting happy smiles back on people's faces. It was good to see the gratitude from her, even though she initially was skeptical about us.
