Dental Internship Stories: Part 12

Similar to other days, but the workload just got heavier. Today, one employee was out sick, and the other was out for half the day. That means more work for us. Gladly, someone else could step in for the sick one, which helped. But since the one out for half the day was the receptionist, we had more work to do. It didn't help that the desk was busiest when the receptionist was gone. Like, whenever she's out, the most busy the front desk is. I don't know, it just happens that way. As for the researching, it was pretty rough. Not a lot of offices accept Medicaid. Most don't even pick up. So more work, more searching, more time spent. Overall, I felt like I could have worked harder today, as I spent lots of time on other websites. I'll need to work harder next time.
