Dental Internship Stories: Part 13

We finished the next step in our research project! Today, we managed to finish calling 25 dental offices in Vermont to bring us to a total of 75 dental offices for the research project. It was good to finally finish gathering data, after all those weeks of trial and error. It took up so much time that we almost exclusively did research, nothing else. Yeah, maybe a little help at front desk, but that's about it. No shadowing, barely any cleaning, just calling. Even today had its own struggles, as dental offices didn't pick up or didn't accept new patients. But I decided to push through anyways, bugging the offices with questions to ultimately get what I needed for the project. And that's what matters. It's great to be done with one step, but there's a whole new step looming ahead: analyzing the data and writing our paper. Hopefully we can submit our essays to the publishing journal as quickly as possible.
