Dental Internship Stories: Part 5

My internship today didn't go too well. I mean, it wasn't horrible, but I had to do a lot more research. Last night, we switched up our plans for our research topic, completely changing the main ideas and reshaping the hypothesis. That meant my siblings and I had to do a lot more digging about all the fee schedules for each insurance we wanted to use (we had done this before, but some of the information wasn't correct). For our research, we need to find insurance coverage plans and dental offices that accept those insurances, but we came to a dead end due to the lack of a large sample size. So, should we just switch our topic again? We don't know, but I'm bummed out that our topic didn't really work. Hopefully we can work around it.

Other than that, the day was normal. I did more chair cleaning and tool sterilizing, but I don't think I did any front desk work. I haven't done so for a while, as I just let Caden and Cara do it. Well, that's a wrap; I got to go now. See you guys later.
