School Stories: Part 15

Today was not a good investing day for me. In the game with my friends, I fell so much that I am now ranked tenth out of 10 kids. I'm like $200 below the next kid, and hundreds of dollars below the $1o,000 we started with. But the reason for this sharp decline was because of 1 stock. The rest of my stocks are all green, but this one stock lost me roughly $1600 by itself. If I hadn't bought this stock, I probably would be near the top of the class, but oh well. You live and you learn. Kind of related to this, we started our investing league with the official finance class. It's too early to see whose doing the best right now, but I hope Caden and I can be the top in this one. But you never know; today, the 9th ranked kid jumped all the way to 1st after one of his stocks boomed. And the 1st ranked kid fell to 6th place. The stock market can be crazy at times.
