School Stories: Part 22

Today's lunch was a bit weird, as we went to a restaurant with the class instead of eating our own lunches. Our homeroom teacher took us to this Spanish place called Santa Fe, which has recently opened up down the street. Some of our classmates had tried it, so we as a class went there to eat lunch (our homeroom teacher is the Spanish teacher by the way). It gave me Chipotle vibes, with a lot of the topping options being similar to Chipotle. The taste, in my opinion, was a bit lacking though. I got the steak version, and the steak was very watery. It also had a way different taste from Chipotle's steak. Other than the meat, I felt that the burrito as a whole didn't have that Mexican flavor to it like you get from Chipotle. It was even milder than Chipotle, and I kind of missed that more Mexican taste to my burrito. Overall though, I wouldn't say it was bad, it was just lacking in certain aspects. I feel that the lunch my mom packed today (some sort of panini) would have tasted better.

Edit: I also applied to UMass Amherst over the weekend. That was nice, and we'll see what the results are going to be in late January. Hopefully, the Brown results can come out sooner.
