School Stories: Part 36

Today was our vacation basketball game, the one game during Christmas break. We played Rising Tide, and we were missing 3 guys, two to injury and one because he couldn't make it. The kid who couldn't make it was the backup point guard, so I filled his spot today. I think I played well, and the coaches and players complimented me a lot for my work today. I only scored two points, but people commented on my improved handles and confidence. It felt good to know that I made the coaches happy today. Also, I started for the first time in my career, which was a new feeling. I'm glad to not disappoint, considering I started today, and I hope to continue this good stuff.
