School Stories: Part 4

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I forgot about it.

Today went really well, at least to my standards. In the morning, I played bass for the worship band for the first time this year. It didn't go too well, but I don't need to talk about that. After lunch was finance, which is a class that I really enjoy. Finance has always been really interesting to me, and I'm finally understanding all the details of it now. To finish off the day, we cooked some dips at home ec. We split into two teams; my team made a cold dip and the other team made a hot buffalo-chicken one. I think I liked ours better just because the buffalo one had too much bleu cheese, which I'm not the biggest fan of. My favorite part of the day was the captain's practice for the basketball team. I've been working on my defense lately, and I think I'm improving. Running full-court scrimmages still left me gassed, though, so I'll need to condition more. Overall, I'd say that the first week of school went pretty well.
