School Stories: Part 42

Today's game was good, but not perfect. I didn't really play, but my team played well. To summarize, the game went down to the last possession; there was a ton of back and forth and lead changes. We shot the ball decently, grabbed boards, and played good defense. The thing was, so did the other team. They ran hard as well, snagging boards and tipping away the ball from our players too. In the end, we lost the hard fought battle by three points. It was a heart-breaker, especially since we were in the lead for some time too. I would blame the refs, too. Every single year we play at this court, the refs always favor the other team. It's something we can't seem to avoid, and it came to bite us again. Oh well, we'll get them next time when they come to our court.
