School Stories: Part 44

The past week or so has been full of basketball games and some drama. I was sick for the beginning part of last week, so I missed 2 games. We won one and lost one, but both results were expected. On Friday, we had an away game, and it was their senior night. It also was an elimination game for them; if they lost on Friday, they would be not be eligible to make the playoffs. Long story short, we got smacked. I played a little but not a lot. Today, we had another game versus an easier team, and we smoked them. But I personally had a really bad game. 0's across the board except 1 turnover. This one kid guarding me was super annoying, constantly tapping my body on defense and being super aggressive on offense (swinging arms, pushing, etc.). He also didn't get called for this. Like when was tapping the opponent legal in basketball? He was so annoying, and it made me mad just to see him. Either way, this kid doesn't excuse my horrible game play. With my final season winding down to a close soon, I wanna have one good game, that one game that I'm super proud of my play. I just don't know when, or if, that will happen.
