School Stories: Part 48

Today was my sister's last game as a varsity basketball player. Her team lost in the playoffs by 7 points tonight, and it was a tough one. We were actually favored to win today and even held the lead at halftime. But in the end, our team lost. The reason I'm writing about my sister's game is because my brother and I have been the camera men for the girls' varsity team for the past two years. So we've seen a lot of the games, supported them, and been with them through thick and thin. So this loss was sad, not only because our season ended, but that my brother and I's career as camera men ends as well. A lot of the people who watched the girls' film said they would miss hearing us "commentate" on the girls' games (it was more cheering than commentating, but that's what the people called it), but I think I will miss it, too. It was fun, but everything must come to an end, you know. Hopefully the girls can play better and go farther into the playoffs next year.
