Today was the end of my high school basketball school. We played our playoff game today at 6:30 pm, and we lost. You know, it was tough because we were losing by 24, then were only down 7 by half time, and then lost the game around 20 points. Like, we felt that we could win, but in the end, they crushed our hopes in the second half. And that marked the end of not only the season, but also my brother and I's career. It was great being part of the varsity basketball team for the past 3 years, and I had a lot of good memories from the seasons, from bonding with my teammates to scoring buckets in the minutes I actually got to play. Basketball really allowed me to widen my social circle along with much-needed exercise, and I'm really gonna miss it. But it's time to move on now, and I'm prepared for the future.
