School Stories: Part 5

School itself wasn't exciting today; it was what happened afterward. Well, one thing was exciting; one of my friends started a league in an investing simulator. I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but I really enjoy investing, and this league among my friends will be a great way to keep things competitive. Other than that, nothing of importance happened. After school, however, I went to the gas station with my friends to get some snacks. I decided to fill up gas while my friends ordered, and while I was doing that, this homeless guy just walks up and starts talking to me. He was nice, but he definitely just wanted my money. I managed to get rid of him after my friends came back from the mini mart, shocked to see their friend talking to a stranger. After the gas station episode, I took a wrong turn, missed the road to U-turn back, tried to U-turn even farther down the road, and then did what my friends called a "pump fake" (I will not explain what that means). Eventually, we got back to the school and went back home. Most days aren't eventful, but at least the time with friends make up for it, am I right?
