Today was nice way to end off volunteering. It was relatively busy, but there was time to rest and talk with others. This was good, as it allowed me to wrap up this summer's volunteering by getting to know my friends more deeply and even meet a new nurse today. When I came in, the cleaning lady and the other older volunteer, the people I was closest to during my volunteering, didn't know it was my last day, and the cleaning lady got really sad. I think I may have been her favorite volunteer that she's ever worked with over the years. The older volunteer noted my hard work throughout the summer. As this volunteering program comes to a close, I'm glad of working at Milford Regional Health Center. It introduced me to a new field of the medical field that I previously had no knowledge about, and it provided another outlet for me to be a positive impact on the medical community. Looking back, I'm glad to have volunteered here and proud of the work I put into this program this summer. I'll miss volunteering there.
